We’re almost embarrassed to say but it’s been over a year since we have featured shorts on IHL, and we really have no excuse. In light of our serious oversight, we went on a mission to find some hot shorts for this summer, and we think we found the perfect pair. If we had the legs for it, we’d definitely be rocking these chambray blue dace Wilkinson Shorts ($144 USD). We love the fact that they are only semi-high waisted, have a perfectly sized bottom cuff, front welt pockets and detailed with horse buttons.

The wedges on these Agent by Carvela heels ($150 USD) make them extremely sturdy and add an unexpected presence to these shoes. We think they should be paired with a smart high waisted pencil skirt and a boxy cropped jacket, it could be Fall’s must-have look!

Laura Dawson has been on the tip of everyones’ tongue recently and we aren’t surprised. These bubble shorts ($156 USD) are eye catching, high waisted, and is going to go so well with all the fall fashions to come.

Grey Ant has been doing the High Waisted Jean thing since the late 90’s. So they must be overjoyed that these jeans ($286 USD) are the next big IT fashion item on the rise. Although not for everyone, if you could pull these babies off, more power to you.

Move over High waisted jeans, colored denim is the next huge trend coming this Fall. We have been seeing these bottoms ($195 USD) in bright bold colors, but for something a little more wearable, try it in Rich Red….We know you won’t be disappointed.
