We think that sewing is highly underrated and is often mistaken for something only your mom your grandma would be caught doing. This book by the ultra- crafty duo Therese Laskey and Chika Mori titled Zakka Sewing ($25 USD) proves sewing never went out of style. In Japanese zakka means “household goods”, this book offers patterns and ideas for all kinds of zakka projects with a focus on the cute, clever, and functional. The book includes instructions for 25 different projects ranging from coasters to slippers. We can’t wait to get our craft on!
