Simone Walsh – Damask Pendant

Simone Walsh - Damask PendantOne of our loyal readers (We heart you! Nina), sent us a link to Australian Simone Walsh who has been handcrafting jewelry for over 15 years. Simone’s work is incredibly intricate, and undeniably beautiful. Her work is influenced by the Japanese concept of ‘wabi sabi’, in which imperfection is seen as one of the highest forms of beauty. We were especially taken by her Damask Pendant on Black Silk. ($64 USD) We really like that for each piece of jewelry she describes the process and methods used in making it.
