The other day we received a beautiful package in the mail from Valerie Lau the founder and designer of Designs by Val. It was filled with some of the most adorable greeting cards ever. Her cards are inspired by trends in fashion, home décor and her local market and bakery. The detail of the ribbon and jewel embellishments, compliment the chic and whimsical illustrations perfectly. Inspired by the beauty of winter, Canadian brother and sister team Thien and My Ta Trung have designed this ultra-luxe Iceberg Table ($3,500 USD). The perfect snowflakes, laser-cut from steel looks fragile in its beautiful intricacy - this piece borders on the line of art vs. furniture. To be honest, we think it's a little of both.
