The light is made from multi-layered extruded mylar, and is as durable as it is beautiful.

Kitchy isn't always bad as it is with these totally luxe and vintage wall plates ($10 USD) from Mahar Drygoods - purveyor of fine vintage and artisan crafted products. Designed by husband and wife team Nicole and Mark Lewis at Fondue Art and Design, the wall plates are made from actual vintage wallpapers dating from the 1930's to the 1970's and are decoupaged onto jumbo sized wall plates. They are unique and an unusual way of adding details to that special room.

Designed in 1959 by Kristian Vedel these small oak birds ($59 USD) are still hand turned in a small village in Denmark. We think that they make the perfect home/office accent, plus each bird has a free-moving head that can be balanced to create a wide variety of expressions. It's available in three sizes in natural or smoked oak.
